Open House Announcement

Skyscraper Brewing is celebrating its first awards and first run of bottles by holding an Open House at the brewery on Saturday August 11, 2007.

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED!

Skyscraper Brews Win Awards

It's competition season, and Skyscraper kicked it off with a bang! The San Diego County Fair awarded a Bronze Ribbon to Lug Nut Lager in June, officially marking the first Skyscraper award (they have good taste!). The California State Fair in Sacramento awarded both Lug Nut Lager and Bulldozer Honeyweizen Bronze Ribbons, as well. Look for Skyscraper at the LA County Fair in September, and, of course, at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, October 11-13.

Bottles Now Available

Bottles of both Skyscraper beers are now available! You can now pick up a six-pack at select retailers or at the brewery.

Skyscraper Sponsors DBTI Golf Tournament

Don Bosco Technical Institute , Alma Mater of Philip Sutton, Skyscraper Brewing's President and Head Brewer, recently held a golf tournament to raise funds for the Alumni Association's scholarship program. Skyscraper was there with two beer carts, along with the Chiva Girls!

More Golf: Skyscraper to Sponsor LTC Tournament

Skyscraper will also be sponsoring the Lincoln Training Center Golf Tournament on Monday, September 10. Lincoln does great work (they help bottle Skyscraper beers!), so please support them! Send Phil an email if you'd like to participate, either by joining us for golf or by donating an item to the silent or live auction. For those who attend, don't forget to bid on the Skyscraper basket, which will include a day of brewing with Phil and plenty of beer and brewery swag!

Skyscraper Featured on "The Tasting Room" with Tom Leykis

Did you hear us on Tom Leykis' weekend show, "The Tasting Room"? Phil from Skyscraper and Brian and Aaron from Whitecap Distributing were on the air recently. "The Tasting Room" airs Sundays at 7:30pm on 97.1 FM. Keep an ear open - we're hoping to tape another segment soon!
